In what scenarios is FailSafe Interceptor typically useful?

  • If a wallet’s private key is exposed through a phishing attack and an attacker initiates a drain on the vulnerable wallet, FailSafe Interceptor will neutralise the attacker’s drain transaction.

  • If a company’s wallet or ledger has been compromised – either through theft or internal collusion – FailSafe Interceptor will ensure that funds are not successfully stolen by swiftly moving funds to safety.

  • If an outstanding spending allowance to a service (such as a major decentralized exchange) is now vulnerable (due to a newly identified exploit), FailSafe monitors all internal transactions and ensures that funds are moved to safety before the attacker’s transaction exploits the outstanding spending allowance.

  • If you signed an offline signature to authorize the transfer of assets to marketplaces. If the marketplace was hacked, the hackers can steal the crypto assets you authorized earlier.
